I have heard a disturbing rumour that Monkton Wyld is no longer accepting bookings for any courses.
Does anyone know what is happening - I was thinking of joining up for relaxing yoga classes Surprised|

Forget your yoga classes Geoff. They are looking for a development manager, how about it?
Details on the website:

Also on the website you will see that they are having a break in courses over the winter of 07/08. Personally I heard that the whole set-up there has become rather inefficient with too many “hangers on”. Heads will roll.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I am glad it hasn't folded altogether though.

Cheers,
G.

Monkton Wylde is now under a different set of Managers. I know one very well, Caroline, who is an extremely competent, pragmatic and sensible(and not a drippy hippy sort) who had done a lot of work with Councils (Axminster) etc. The courses are going to be more "normal" and events and things. They want to restore the house and are doing B&B. Organic gardens and want to be part of the community.
