The latest indication that wildlife and plants are being targeted locally comes from a private nature reserve in Uplyme where wild flower rich turf has been cut and removed. The owner wishes not to be named for fear of attracting further attention. I will remind everyone that the uprooting of a plant, whether it be a Lady’s Slipper Orchid or a humble dock, without the landowner’s permission is illegal.
