Uplyme Webcam

Date: 29/07/2010 Time: 20:35
The Uplyme webcam
was upgraded in August 2007 thanks to generous
donations from villagers Joss Kent and Darrol Moss.
As you can see, the webcam is now back
to its original view of the playing field, allowing you to see if a cricket match,
or other sporting event is going ahead, or perhaps if the weather had caused a problem.
Or you might just want to remind yourself how beautiful our little bit of Devon is !
The webcam runs
from about 04:00 to 23:00, 7-days a week, taking a
new picture every minute.
For techies, the camera
is a New Fusion NCS230 with a 640x480 colour CMOS
sensor (57dB s/n). The camera lens is 6.0mm f/1.8
The Second Uplyme Webcam
Uplyme.com
recently launched a geostationary spacecraft above
the village especially to capture the following
(live) imagery - can you spot the Talbot ?

Thanks to EUMETSAT
for the above image
you didn't really
believe we launched our own satellite ??
